Panfilov Park

Panfilov Park is located in the very heart of the city. Stoned lumps with graven names of 28 Panfilov heroes were installed along the Memory Alley, crossing the entire park. In 1975, in memory of fighters perished for freedom and independence of the country, the Memorial of Glory was constructed in the park. Grandiose Construction consists of three compositions, placed at Perpetual Fire. The special impression gives high relief in the form of Soviet Union map outline with the image of warrior of different nationality in USSR, covering Kremlin Walls with their bodies.
On one side of the eternal flame, like a symbol of grief, is the figure of a soldier leading the horses of their comrades, on the other, like a symbol of joy, - the soldier blowing glory. At the foot of the monument are always fresh flowers - a symbol of remembrance and gratitude.
